College Bound

Navigating the College Process

CVA’s College Bound program is woven into the Junior and Senior year experience, giving students the structure, resources, and guidance they need to confidently navigate the college application process. From SAT prep to college visits, the program ensures students are prepared academically, athletically, and personally for life after CVA.

Built Into the Schedule

College Bound programming is built into the Fall and Spring terms of Junior and Senior year, so students receive consistent, dedicated time for college preparation without adding extra stress to their schedules.

Comprehensive Guidance

Our counselors bring a broad understanding of the wide variety of colleges and universities CVA students consider. They help students match their goals with schools that fit both academically, athletically and socially, and guide them in highlighting their strengths throughout the application process.

Program Highlights

  • On-site SAT preparation and testing are included in the curriculum
  • Personal statement and essay writing support as part of classroom work
  • Electronic delivery of transcripts, recommendations, and school profiles for a smooth application process
  • College visits and information sessions to explore a range of options
  • NCAA and USCSA coach visits and guidance for athletes looking to continue skiing or snowboarding at the collegiate level

CVA’s College Bound program ensures that every student is prepared to apply and also find the right next step: a college that feels like home and supports their future success.
