  • Interviews

We encourage all families to visit Carrabassett Valley Academy but understand this may not be possible for international families. For families not able to travel to CVA, we will schedule a virtual tour and a zoom interview with the Admissions team.
  • Medical Insurance

All students are required to have a comprehensive medical plan that is accepted by local providers. Medical insurance issued from a country outside of the United States may not provide complete coverage in the United States. If insurance needs to be purchased for coverage in the United States, CVA recommends the most comprehensive plan offered by the Global Benefits Group: SHIP Student Health Insurance Protection.

Academic Success Program

CVA’s Academic Success Program is a skill-based program directed toward helping students achieve their greatest potential and become independent learners. This is an individualized program offering academic support services that goes beyond the extra help available in the academic program.

The ASP is available to provide additional support to student-athletes when English is their second language.

Francois, our French-speaking Belgian son, a very good skier in France, chose CVA to improve his skiing skills with top level coaches while learning English. The experience has been successful! He is part of a community and happy! He has become bilingual, the lessons are of a very high standard, and he has done very well in his skiing competitions. Thanks again to CVA!  We strongly recommend this school at all levels!
