As we reflect on another exciting year at Carrabassett Valley Academy, we are reminded that the strength of the CVA experience is made possible by our students, coaches, and faculty, and by the generosity of our community.
Each year, gifts to the CVA Annual Fund play a critical role in supporting the student-athlete experience both on the hill and in the classroom. The Annual Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of delivering the exceptional educational and athletic experience that defines CVA.
At a ski and snowboard academy like CVA, these investments translate into tangible advantages for student-athletes through stronger coach-to-athlete ratios, improved training environments, and access to the tools and support needed to compete and develop at the highest levels. The Annual Fund also provides the flexibility to address unexpected needs, pursue strategic opportunities, and continually improve programs rather than simply maintain them.
This year marked an exciting milestone for the CVA community with the opening of the new High Performance Center, which has quickly become an important hub for student development and campus life. Progress like this is only possible because of the generosity and commitment of donors who believe deeply in CVA’s mission.
We are incredibly grateful to the many alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends whose support continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of CVA students. Every gift, regardless of size, helps ensure that student-athletes have access to the coaching, academics, and opportunities they need to pursue their goals and dreams.

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, there is much to celebrate across campus. Spring is always an exciting time at CVA as we honor the progress our student-athletes have made and look ahead to important milestones still to come.
Carrabassett Valley Academy will celebrate the Class of 2026 during Commencement Weekend on June 5 and 6. The weekend will honor a group of student-athletes whose dedication, perseverance, and growth have left a lasting impact on the CVA community.
CVA is pleased to announce several coaching additions and leadership updates across the Alpine and Freestyle programs for the coming year. These changes strengthen athlete development pathways and reinforce collaboration between the Weekend Program and Academy teams.
