A Message from CVA’s Head of School

Dear CVA Community,

What a wonderful Fall Family and Homecoming Weekend! With Sugarloaf in full fall color, more than 65 families joined us across campus and on the mountain.
Grandparents visited, longtime friends reconnected, and more than 30 people toured campus to get their first look at CVA. It was a great reminder of what makes this place so special.

Now, our attention is turning to winter. Snowmaking has begun at Sugarloaf, and we are fortunate to be one of the first academies to get our athletes on snow at home. The work happening now helps prepare us for the season ahead, and we look forward to seeing our athletes put in the work and make the most of the winter.

Winter Term Registration Day is Sunday, November 1, when we will welcome 25 families to campus, including returning families and those joining CVA for the first time. It is always exciting to see campus full as we begin Winter Term and another season of learning, training, and growth.

As we head into winter, I am grateful for the students and families who made CVA their home, the staff who work hard to support our students, and the community that makes this experience possible. Thank you for being part of CVA. I look forward to the season ahead and all we will accomplish together.

With gratitude,

Alex Godomsky ’91
Head of School
