Each month, CVA recognizes students who live out our core values of kindness, respect, commitment, and gratitude in meaningful ways. The March Student Spotlight Award recipients represent these ideals through their efforts in the classroom, in the dorms, and on the hill, contributing positively to the strength and character of our community.

Isla is a hardworking, well-rounded student who consistently brings a positive and respectful presence to the classroom. She participates actively, stays engaged in discussions, and approaches her work with focus and determination.
As a seventh grader balancing academics and travel, Isla has shown maturity beyond her years, continuing to keep up with her studies and put in strong effort regardless of schedule. Her reliability and strong work ethic reflect commitment, while her positive interactions with peers and teachers demonstrate kindness and respect within the CVA community.

He takes pride in his progress and seeks out opportunities to stay engaged and share his accomplishments. His work ethic and growth mindset reflect a deep sense of commitment, along with respect for his teachers and gratitude for the opportunity to learn.

His leadership reflects commitment to his sport, respect for those around him, and a team-first mindset that elevates the entire group.
CVA congratulates Josh, Isla, Anson, and Grant on this well-deserved recognition. Each of these students demonstrates that success at CVA is about more than individual achievement; it is about how we show up for one another. Through consistent effort, a willingness to grow, and an awareness of their impact on others, they help create a culture rooted in kindness, respect, commitment, and gratitude.
Whether it’s taking ownership of academic responsibilities, supporting peers in the dorm, or leading by example in training and competition, these students embody the values that define the CVA experience. Their contributions, both large and small, strengthen the community and set a standard for others to follow.
