A Message from CVA's Head of School

Dear CVA Community,

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, there is much to celebrate across campus. Spring is always an exciting time at CVA as we honor the progress our student-athletes have made and look ahead to important milestones still to come.
This year, the opening of the High Performance Center has brought new energy to campus and marks an important step forward for our school. The HPC is already becoming a central part of our student-athletes' daily lives, bringing together strength and conditioning, recovery, rehab, and wellness under one roof. Seeing students train and work together in this space has reinforced the impact it will have on their overall development and daily experience at CVA.

We also look forward to welcoming families, alumni, and friends back to campus for Graduation Weekend on June 5 and 6. On Friday, June 5, the community will gather for the annual Big Dog Award Luncheon, recognizing student achievement across academics, athletics, leadership, and community impact. Graduation on Saturday will honor the Class of 2026 and mark the culmination of another meaningful chapter at CVA.

As we reflect on another successful year, we are grateful for the community whose support continues to move CVA forward. The Annual Fund plays an essential role in expanding access to financial aid, strengthening academic programs, and supporting athletic development, ensuring the programs and opportunities that define CVA continue for years to come. From the High Performance Center to the daily experiences that shape our students’ growth, every gift supports student-athletes as they pursue their goals at the highest level.

Thank you to everyone who has supported CVA this year. Your generosity and commitment continue to make a lasting impact on our students and our school.
With gratitude,

Alex Godomsky ’91
Head of School
