BUILDING THE FUTURE: CVA’s High Performance Center Takes Shape

The walls are up on Carrabassett Valley Academy’s new High Performance Center, marking an exciting milestone in this transformative project. This state-of-the-art facility will unite strength training, mental performance, and rehabilitation under one roof, giving Big Dogs the space to train side by side and reach their full potential.
More than just an athletic training space, the HPC is designed to support the whole athlete, mind and body. It will feature specialized equipment for strength, agility, and endurance, along with integrated sports medicine and wellness services to support recovery and mental health. The HPC represents CVA's commitment to developing student-athletes who are strong, balanced, and ready to perform at their best.

Design and Construction Partners

Kevin Browne Architecture designed the HPC with an open, thoughtfully planned layout that prioritizes training efficiency and safety. Every aspect of the design reflects careful attention to the needs of student-athletes.

H.E. Callahan Construction is leading the build, creating a space that is both functional and inviting. Earthwork is handled by Murphy Industries, led by CVA alum Jeb Murphy-Dulac ’14, who has supported several previous CVA projects. Civil engineering and permitting are managed by Acorn Engineering, and Birchwood Interiors will complete the project with craftsmanship that reflects the pride and character of the CVA community.
