Summer freestyle snowboard training trip report

Coach Freddy McCarthy reports the summer freestyle snowboard training trip was a blast. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees every day and the Mount Hood park was awesome! Athletes enjoyed snowboarding in t-shirts and sunglasses all week. The vibe was high after meeting and hanging out with the Salomon snowboard team including Tommy Gesme, Riley Nickerson, Harrison Gordon and Emma Crosby. Our athletes dialed in their tricks and learned new ones as well, including boardsliding rails and backside 360's. One middle school athlete spun a jump, he said it was the biggest jump he had ever laid eyes on!
