Age of Camper- 10-14

This camp is designed for beginners in Freestyle looking to improve their skills by experiencing the water ramp for one or more of these four training days. Athletes ages 10-14 who have little to no experience at water ramps will find themselves in a challenging but supportive environment.

The camp will allow beginner freestyle athletes the opportunity to develop good lifts with their take offs in straight airs, 360's, single, double and triple upright jumps. Some athletes will even make there way to the front flip. Accomplishing this goal is a big one! With the trampolines next door athletes can work double time on there goals and build confidence in the fundamentals.

We will have coach Lars Lund  on duty each day. If your camper wants to add another day, they can!  The idea is, by testing out one day you're not making a huge investment. If your young child wants to stay a second day or maybe even a third then, this is all possible.

Each day will have two ramping sessions, each are approximately an hour and a 1/2 long. Athletes will also have two trampoline sessions which are approximately an hour long our camp is going to be limited 5 athletes so that we can have a great experience for each little one attempting the ramps.

We will post our daily ramping schedule a week before the training days start. It is best to arrive the night before your training day.

There are many lodging options close to the Mackenzie Jumping Complex and in town Lake Placid. For less expensive lodging, look 30 miles out of Lake Placid.

Each athlete has at least an hour for lunch with many options nearby. Families can either take their child out for lunch or pack them a bag lunch. Lars will be available to eat lunch with the campers. However, families provide their own meals and transportation.

This is a great way for the family to experience Lake Placid. Great mountain biking, fishing, golfing and lots of little lakes and things to see, plus a great Main Street with plenty of shops.
