2016-17 Winter Camps 

 Camp 1: January 3-6, 2017

This is an early season camp to prepare 7th and 8th graders for a solid start to the season, as well as experience life as a student at CVA. Participants must be advanced riders.

A busy camp schedule starts on Monday evening with goal setting and strategically planning the next four days to maximize progression and improve the riders’ knowledge base.  We will cover topics such as video analysis, an introduction to physical and mental toughness, nutrition, warm-up and cool- down routines in addition to ample of time on the hill with CVA coaches

.The athletes train during CVA training time with our full-time coaches.

.The athlete studies in monitored study hall during CVA academic time. They work independently on their homework from their public school with the support of a tutor

.Boarding campers arrive Monday, January 2nd at 4PM .  Athletes may be considered for boarding in our dorm if there is space available and he/she is13 or older and has the permission of the director of student services.

 Campers younger than 7th grade must get department head approval.

Camp 2: March 14-17, 2017

This is a late season and post season preparation camp.  A long-standing tradition at CVA, our March camps combine the fun of spring snowboarding and the passion for post season competitions.  This camp is for ages 10 and up.  Riders must be at an advanced/ intermediate level.

A busy camp schedule starts on Monday evening with goal setting and is followed by four fun and full days. We will cover topics such as video analysis, mental toughness training and planning, warm-up and cool-down routines in addition to ample time for riding at Sugarloaf and using the trampolines and skate park at the AGC.

.The athletes train during CVA training time with our full-time coaches.

.The athlete studies in monitored study hall during CVA academic time. They work independently on their homework from their public school with the  support of a tutor.

.Boarding campers arrive Monday, March 13th at 4PM . Athletes may be considered for boarding in our dorm if there is space available and he/she is 13 or older and has the permission of the director of student services.

Weekend Program Participant Prices:

$650 as a day camper, $850 as a boarding camper

$700 as a day camper, $900 as a boarding camper

 . Day prices include training, lunches, and study hall support. Boarding prices include training,      study hall support, boarding and all meals.

 . Lift tickets available for $45/day

. Full cost is due with registration form. Refundable/transferrable up to 7 days before camp less $100 cancellation fee.
