7th Grade Program

We are pleased to present the CVA 7th Grade Program. This season- long program is a way to increase skills, continue academics full-time and experience a unique introduction to the benefits of the academy experience.

How it works
During December the students have the option of joining the SCVA weekend program on the weekends and the holiday vacation week in addition to participating in CVA’s camps.

During January, February, and March the students are with CVA Monday-Sunday in a program which will in many ways mirror the CVA experience by offering a balance of academics and training.

The education component of this program will either be a CVA 7th grade curriculum or a tutorial model, depending on the student’s home school. Students will study Monday-Friday.

The students will train with CVA coaches on the hill and in dryland training Tuesday - Sunday.

Living Arrangements
Seventh graders must be day students as we feel they need the support of a home environment either with their parents or a host family. We will help facilitate homestays.

Three Month CVA Program: $10,600
Includes athletic training, tuition, week day lunches and snacks
(additional charges apply for SCVA programs and camps)

Admissions Process
Students will complete an application and visit CVA for an interview. There is a $40 application fee. Please contact Dawn Smith at 207-237-4466 or dsmith@gocva.com for full details. Application deadline is October 15, 2013. Admissions to the 7th Grade Program does not guarantee admissions to CVA in future years.
