PRE-HOLIDAY SNOWBOARD DAY CAMP 

DECEMBER 20-22, 2019

SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN, MAINE

Join CVA’s Full time and Weekend Program Staff for this Pre-Holiday winter day camp designed to refresh and update your skills in SBX, Freestyle or Alpine Snowboard racing. This camp is geared to both the competitive athlete and the new athlete curious about competing, and will offer coaching in the following discipline training and equipment usage.

  • SBX Start and mid course feature training
  • Freestyle Training
  • Alpine Gate Training 

Equipment used will include but not be limited to

  • Alpine Tree Portable Start Gate for different start locations
  • NEW Brower Timing System for Cross and Alpine training with a Brower Split timer to give us multiple course times
  • NEW Timing system app controller that uploads LIVE times to the cloud for instant review from the lift or the lodge for Athletes & Parents
  • SPM Stubbies and full panel Gates
  • State of the art wax room, spin bikes and stretching facility in our Competition Center

Pricing:

Day Camper with a Sugarloaf Season pass $585

*Lift tickets can be purchased through the registration process for those without a Sugarloaf season pass for a total of $150 for this 3 day camp. Lift tickets will be given to the campers on the first day of camp.

This camp is geared to both the competitive athlete and the new athlete curious about competing, and will offer coaching in the following discipline training and equipment usage.

  • Slopestyle Jumps and Rail Training
  • Alpine Gate Training in GS and SL

Join CVA’s Full time and Weekend Program Staff for a Mid-Season training camp designed to focus your skills in SBX, Freestyle or Alpine Snowboard racing. This camp is geared to both the competitive athlete but transitioning athletes curious about competing are welcome to join! We will offer coaching in the following discipline training and equipment usage.

  • Slopestyle Jumps and Rail Training

MARCH 9-11, 2020

SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN, MAINE

Join CVA’s Full time and Weekend Program Staff for our wrap up season training camp designed to focus your skills in SBX, Slopestyle or Alpine Snowboard racing for the upcoming USASA Nationals competition. This camp is geared mostly to the competitive athlete preparing for the Sugarloaf Banked Slalom or The USASA Nationals. Transitioning athletes curious about competing are welcome to inquire. We will offer coaching in the following discipline training and equipment usage.

  • SBX Start and Full course training
  • Slopestyle Jumps and Rail Training
  • Banked Slalom
  • Alpine Gate Training in GS and SL
