CVA Alumni Coaching at the Paralympics
Two CVA alumni are currently in Beijing coaching at the 2022 Paralympics.
Alex Tuttle ‘09 CVA alumnus and current Snowboard Cross Head Coach is coaching the US Paralympic Snowboarding Team. Alex coached 3 athletes to the podium on Monday in the Snowboard Cross event with Brenna Huckaby taking bronze, Mike Schultz taking silver, and Garrett Geros taking silver in their events.
Mark Fawcett ‘90 is coaching the Canada Paralympic Snowboarding Team. 2 of his athletes, Tyler Turner and Lisa DeJong, claimed Canada’s first-ever Paralympic snowboard medals — with gold and silver, respectively.
