Giving

Why Give

Since 1982, young people from around the globe have come to the Western mountains of Maine to fulfill their dreams of becoming world class winter athletes while pursuing a quality, college preparatory education.

An integral part

The idea of giving back to this special place, one that means so much to all of us, has been an integral part of what keeps us going.  Gifts allow CVA to continue providing exceptional classroom instruction and a world-class winter sports experience to students who want to pursue their dreams with us.

CVA's Guide to Being Involved & Invested

Make a difference

Gifts of time, talent, and treasure impact every facet of our program and make a tangible difference. By coming together as a community to support the school, students, faculty, and coaches we can send a powerful message about the value of the CVA experience and the formative role it plays in so many lives.

The importance of participation

We hope every family will feel compelled to provide some additional financial support (beyond tuition) to CVA each year. A high level of participation from our current families, especially to the Annual Fund, is as important as meeting our financial goal. It demonstrates to prospective families and other supporters how much we value the CVA experience and is an important metric when we apply for various sources of grant money. Even families with a student(s) receiving financial assistance are asked to give every year.
