Community Service

Committed to our community

CVA combines college preparatory academics with rigorous athletic programming while instilling a strong sense of commitment to the community.

Special Olympics of Maine

Our annual support for the Special Olympics Winter events is always one of our favorite times of the year.

Annual Food Drive

Staff, students and families of CVA come together in February to make a difference. For over 30 years our door-to-door drive has made a significant impact on the food reserves at local food banks. Coordinated by Rev. Pam Morse of Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry, several teams of volunteers blanket Carrabassett Valley with invitations to give. This past year, the groups collected almost 900 food and toiletry items and $1,195.
These very outgoing, pleasant and polite young people just dropped by to solicit donations for the The Food Pantry. We received a big thank you from all and big smiles. Bravo to them, their parents, and CVA for raising such great young people
