Sugarloaf Mountain provides
  • 650 acres of backcountry-style glades, including steeps, chutes and cliffs.
  • The Narrow Gauge Trail is one of the only FIS-certified downhill courses in the East, and has hosted a World Cup and seven National Championships.
  • U.S. Ski & Snowboard certified mogul course.
  • Olympian-designed Cross Course for snowboard and ski cross.
  • Largest vertical drop of any ski area East of the Rockies.

  • Anti-Gravity Center

    The Anti-Gravity Complex is Carrabassett Valley's home to indoor adventure. As Carrabassett Valley Academy's training center, the AGC is home to a skate park, giant trampolines, a climbing wall, basketball court, track, and gym.
  • Bill & Joan Alfond Competition Center

    The Bill & Joan Alfond Competition Center represents much more than competition. Following it's opening, it has become a hub for social activity and networking, providing a warm and welcoming venue for athletes of all ages. The building honors and draws upon Sugarloaf's rich heritage, highlighting many of the strong structural elements of the original gondola station. This design allows for a celebration of Sugarloaf's history with a look to its bright future.
  • Jean Luce Competition Building

    The Jean Luce on-hill competition facility houses the Slim Melvin Timing Room.  When it was built, the Luce Building set a new standard for on-hill timing facilities in the East.
