  • Academic Assistants

    Carrabassett Valley Academy is seeking Academic Assistants to provide tutoring and support for students in need of extra help in a variety of middle school and high school level courses for the 2020-21 school year.   • Alpine Coach

    Full-time winter term U16 Assistant Alpine Coach for the 2020-21 winter season.
    • CVA is a United States Ski and Snowboard Gold Certified Club. 2016 Club of the Year, and a USSS High-Performance Center, holds a very strong relationship with its home mountain of Sugarloaf, with a 35+ year reputation of excellence in academics, athletics, and citizenship.
    • Position requires strong skiing skills and some level of alpine racing or coaching experience (preferred).
    • The position involves coaching both U16 Girls & Boys.
    • Housing and benefits may be available. 
    • This position also offers the possible opportunity to be mentored  (if required) and trained by our full-time staff & head coaches, who will provide the professional development necessary to reach a high level of experience in a short period of time. Professional USSS development may be supported.

  • Cook

    Carrabassett Valley Academy is hiring for a cook position, full time preferred but will consider part time candidates.  Primarily dinner shifts (11-7) but some breakfast shifts (6-2) may be included.  Schedule is Monday to Friday during the school year.  Competitive wages with benefit package (health, paid holidays & vacation, and more).  Please contact Steve Sitz at 207-237-4460 or ssitz@gocva.com.
  • School Nurse

    CVA is hiring for the position of a part time school nurse. Competitive wage. Seeking an RN with current ME license and CPR certification for weekend coverage. Duties to include medication administration, assessment and care of dorm population as well as promotion of health practices.
