All students contribute to the CVA community by working on a weekly dish crew.
We also provide multiple opportunities to be involved in the larger Sugarloaf Community. Student-athletes coach Special Olympic athletes in the winter, collect food for a local food pantry in our annual Canned Food Drive, help with special projects at Sugarloaf, and help with the annual town roadside clean up. The 8th and 9th grade fall orientation focuses on a local service project. Both the 9th & 10th grade English classes are extending their literacy learning out into the community by sharing reading & writing projects with students at Stratton Elementary School and children at the Western Maine Center for Children (WMCC), respectively.
