Are you looking for an extra year to take your skiing or snowboarding to the next level? Maybe some extra academic credits would boost your transcript or you might benefit from some college credits? Carrabassett Valley Academy’s postgraduate options are specifically designed for the athlete and/or student-athlete who need an extra year to bridge the gap. Check out the options below.
CVA Academic PG
Designed for student-athletes wanting to combine CVA’s training with CVA’s high school academics. This program is available to Full Year program day or boarding students who train at CVA and take a minimum of 4 academic courses.
UMF Academic PG
An excellent combination of CVA’s training and college courses at University of Maine Farmington. Students train with CVA and take 1-2 fall courses at UMF plus optional spring term and/or May term courses. Day or boarding students enroll for the Full Year program or the Fall/Winter.
CVA/UMF Academic PG
This program is for students who want to combine CVA training and CVA’s academics with UMF courses. Full Year or Fall/Winter program day or boarding students train at CVA and take 1-2 fall courses at UMF plus at least one CVA course. UMF spring and/or May term courses are optional.
CVA’s Athletic Only PG
Designed for the high level athlete who will be competing and traveling heavily these athletes train with CVA athletes during athletic times. There is no academic component to this program. Length of term is variable. Open to day or boarding athletes.

CVA Biathlon5/15/2010The Spring Student Fundraiser is a long-standing tradition at CVA. Students, staff and the community come together to compete iron man or in teams running 5 miles and biking 12 miles. Student athletes challenge themselves,coaches, parents and each other. Awards are given for spirit, creative costume, best times, family participation and more at the Spring Family Banquet Saturday night. Please join us May 15 in support
