Day students are welcome at all campus events and are totally integrated into our community.
- Locker spaces at in the Capricorn building are assigned in the beginning of the school year to day students.
- Be sure your child knows the rules regarding the use of his/her car. It’s forbidden for day students to drive boarders in their cars without first obtaining specific permissions through the Director of Residential Life's office.
- Be aware of all school rules, so that you understand which rules your child’s classmates are operating under, i.e. boarders’ sign-out procedures).
- If your child is going to be absent or late, call CVA’s main number: 207-237-2250.
- CVA will normally have regular classes during inclement weather, but it is the prerogative of day parents (after notifying the school) to keep their child home if the driving is unsafe, or to request that the student leave school early to return home.
