IAN HUBBARD, ALPS Program Director 

ALPS Program Director Ian Hubbard has grown up in the western mountains of Maine and believes that the outdoors provide a truly unique opportunity for personal growth and life experience.  Ian is avidly involved in whitewater kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, and skiing, which have all had a huge impact on his life.  As the ALPS program Director, Ian is eager to create similar experiences for his athletes.  Ian has extensive medical training, backcountry travel experience, and a love of telemark skiing.  Beyond being an outdoor enthusiast, Ian has been a division 1 collegiate nordic ski racer and was a member of the CVA academic staff for the past 3 years.
