Great Things Are Happening At CVA

Your Commitment Counts!

It has been another fantastic year here at CVA with our student-athletes working well together both on the slopes and in the classrooms. We are so proud of their accomplishments and are inspired every day by their hard work, talent, resilience and drive.

As a community this year we explored another CVA guiding principle: Commitment. Commitment is the connection between our values, intentions and our actions. CVA’s student-athletes are committed to doing whatever it takes to pursue their dreams. They spend countless hours training on the hill and studying in their rooms so that when it comes time for their big event, whether it’s a Junior World Championship or a biology exam, they are confident in their capability to perform at the highest level.

The faculty, coaches, and staff at CVA dedicate themselves to helping our student-athletes reach their goals and achieve their dreams. They model commitment each and every day. Whether you graduated from CVA 2 years ago or 20 years ago, you should know that the basic tenets and experiences that make this place so special and life-changing remain the same.

We are equally as inspired by our alumni who continue to achieve amazing things on the slopes, in college classrooms, in boardrooms, in courtrooms, as entrepreneurs and as fantastic CVA ambassadors in all that they do. We have had a number of excellent alumni gatherings both here in the Valley and around the country; we urge you to join us at one of these when you are able.

If you are a friend, parent, or an alumnus/a and you haven’t been back to CVA in a while, we encourage you to come back and see the new King Cummings Campus.  We think you will be amazed at what you see.

CVA has always been a place for those with the willpower and the tenacity to shape the world around them. Our students spend countless hours on the hill and long nights doing homework because they believe they have the power to achieve their dreams. Our faculty and coaches dedicate themselves to working nights and weekends because they see that same potential in our students and the opportunity, in this place, to unleash it.  Your continued financial support fuels those dreams and that commitment.
