Great Things Are Happening At CVA

March 2014

What a year it has been! In September we moved into our incredible new academic center and the response from our students, teachers, current and perspective families has all been extremely positive.  Our student-athletes have had a tremendous year athletically, and many of them are now traveling to regional, national and international events around the globe. It was a great year to watch some of our past CVA Big Dogs compete in the Sochi Olympics and to applaud as others continue to lead the way in their professions, passions and own companies. Academics at CVA are stronger than they have ever been, with a whole suite of new technology in place to keep our hard-working students and teachers connected no matter where they are. It’s college acceptance season, too, and many of our students are fortunate to be able to attend the college that feels “right.” We continue to hear that the dedication, time management skills, self-awareness and commitment that our students live and learn while they are at CVA serve them well throughout life. And our story is spreading, with great media attention this year helping to attract top applicants from around the world.

If you are a friend, parent, or an alumnus/a and you haven’t been back to CVA in a while, we encourage you to come back and see the new King Cummings Campus.  We think you will be amazed at what you see.  If you can’t get (back) to the Valley anytime soon, click HERE to launch our new CVA video – that will at least give you some idea of the great things happening at CVA.

CVA has always been a place for those with the willpower and the tenacity to shape the world around them. Our students spend countless hours on the hill and long nights doing homework because they believe they have the power to achieve their dreams. Our faculty and coaches dedicate themselves to working nights and weekends because they see that same potential in our students and the opportunity, in this place, to unleash it.  Your continued financial support fuels those dreams and that commitment.
