Big Weekend for CVA
Sugarloaf Mountain hosted four USASA events this past weekend for skiers and snowboarders including Slopestyle, Rail Jam, Slalom and Giant Slalom. The home team had a great weekend, with many athletes from the Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA) earning the tops spots in competition.

Alison DiGravio '09 Earns World Cup Spot
In the 2011 US Freestyle Selections, Alison DiGravio '09 was one of two top American finishers, earning her a spot on the World Cup Circuit.
Max Richard Wins at Attitash
Carrabassett Valley Academy Junior Max Richard found himself on his second podium of the season at Attitash’s Development FIS Slalom race.

In an effort to stay on the cutting-edge of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA) and Sugarloaf Mountain will be partnering in the operation of an aerial training area featuring a Bagjump.
