2008 CVA/SUGARLOAF GOLF

Over the past 24 years the Classic has raised over $1 million in financial aid for students to attend Carrabassett Valley Academy.  The Classic brings together golfers of all abilities for exciting tournament play, fabulous food, and friendships – all while raising money for the Martha B. Webber Scholarship Fund at Carrabassett Valley Academy. Please join us for a full weekend of memorable golf at the Sugarloaf Golf Club, a spectacular 18-hole course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.

Friday, August 22

Saturday, August 23
7 AM    Breakfast and Registration – Sugarloaf Golf Club

A Classic weekend highlight is the Saturday evening banquet at the Sugarloaf Inn featuring a cocktail party, dinner, and live and silent auction. The evening's activities are complimentary for golfers participating in the Classic tournament. Not a golfer? Join us for $75 per person.

We are seeking live and silent auction donations of products, gift certificates, art, services, equipment, travel, trips, unique experiences, etc. Donations of all kinds are welcomed and appreciated. Please contact Wendy Darienzzo at 207.237.4471 or  wdarienzzo@gocva.com  to make a donation.

The Martha B. Webber Scholarship Fund

All proceeds from the CVA/Sugarloaf Golf Classic contribute to the Martha B. Webber Scholarship Fund at Carrabassett Valley Academy. The fund was established in 1995 in the memory of Martha Beck Webber. Martha was a founder of CVA and had a vision that young people who wished to experience CVA could do so regardless of their economic status.  The contents of the fund are distributed yearly in the form of scholarships to many deserving young student/athletes from the state of Maine with a desire to reach their potential at CVA.

Event Title Sponsor $5,500
Our Big Dog package will get you and three others the CVA/Sugarloaf Golf Classic VIP treatment. You will receive tournament golf for four and top billing in all areas including a global sponsorship spot for our online auction and logo on the cover of the event program. Be our guest for the entire weekend.

Banquet Sponsor $2,500
A Big Dog package for two, this level includes golf for two with VIP treatment, introduction at the banquet, signage on all banquet tables, a full-page ad in the event program and banner placement in area of banquet event, your logo and web link will be featured on all pages and emails of our online auction.

Friday Evening Welcome Reception Sponsor $1,000

Friday evening is the first social for this three-day event. Be there with your company¡¦s logo as the CVA/Sugarloaf Golf Classic has its kickoff reception. Over 100 people attend this event. Your company name and logo will be displayed at the Golf Club during the Awards Luncheon, your logo and web link will be featured on all pages and emails of our online auction, a full-page ad in the event program and a company representative will have an opportunity to address the guests.

Gift Bag Sponsor $1,000
Your company logo will share the CVA spotlight on the chosen gift bag, your logo and web link will be featured on all pages and emails of our online auction and a full-page ad in the event program.

Hole/Tent/Scoreboard Sponsor $500
Includes a half page ad in the event program.  

Event Program Half Page Ad $150

The first eight sponsors to reserve their spot for 2008 at the $500 cash level and above will have your logo and web link featured on the online auction home page. The Online Auction is an outstanding ¡§viral¡¨ marketing tool. Our members will pass along our e-mail messages to their own friends and family ¡V so there¡¦s no telling how many people our message will reach.
