CVA is seeking motivated student-athletes who want to push their personal limits and achieve their full potential athletically and academically. Admission to Carrabassett Valley Academy is based on a careful review of each candidate's current academic, athletic and extracurricular record, personal recommendations, the family interview, and CVA's evaluation of his or her ability to benefit from and contribute to our program. Applicants should be able to perform in a demanding but supportive college preparatory academic program and participate in one of our ski or snowboard programs. Our school is located at the base of Sugarloaf and is known as the premier skier and snowboarder’s mountain. It offers the best terrain and early season snow in the East! Just ask Emily Cook '97, Bode Miller '96, Kirsten Clark '95, Seth Wescott '94 and Jeremy Jones '93; they will tell you that Sugarloaf prepared them for any mountain in the world.
